Market Your Freelance Writing Business with this Time Saving Resource

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of creating a mailing list to build your freelance writing business.

And of course the best way to motivate a potential client to share their email address with you is to give them something extremely valuable in exchange. We’re talking about information that will help them solve a problem. Now you’re a freelance writer which means your prospects are looking for help, guidance and advice on writing.

My friends and associates over at AllPrivateLabelContent have created a PLR package that can solve your marketing and list building needs. It’s called the “Business Startup Package” and it contains:

* 15 Online Business Articles
* 15 Copywriting Articles
* 18-page Copywriting Report
* 16-page Build a Profitable Website Report
* 30 Online Business Start up Autoresponder Messages
* 30 Build a Profitable Website Autoresponder Messages

What Can You Do With PLR?

The sky is the limit…

You can create a value packed ebook to giveaway to your website visitors. You can modify the articles and use them on article marketing sites. You can use them as blog posts and as content on your own website. The key to using PLR effectively is to change it to fit your needs, your niche, and your audience. And because you are a writer you can modify this content quickly and easily.

Now you might be wondering why a writer would buy PLR, (Private Lable Rights) content. The simple answer is your time is money. How long would it take you to create more than 100 pages on your own? A while, right? And during this time you could be making money.

PLR gives you pre-written content that you can easily modify in half the time – so you can spend your time earning money!

P.S. Time is limited, the special pricing only lasts until May 20th.

To Buddha or not to Buddha?

Yesterday I recorded a short video for a sales page. We’re launching a new membership program over at AllCustomContent.com. I recorded it from my desk. This means you can see the paraphernalia in my office.

Now I have a clean office so I wasn’t worried about anything looking unkempt. I did notice that in my first try you could see a sketch of Michelangelo’s David in the background and I figured it wasn’t a good idea to have a nude image on display in the message.

What I neglected to consider was the fact that when I turned the camera at a different angle, you could see my Buddha statue. To be honest I didn’t even think about it being an issue and for most it probably isn’t.

However, when you’re making a sales message there is one thing to remember – your goal. In this case the goal was for the audience to hear my message and to be motivated to read the rest of the sales piece. Not to be distracted or turned off by my statue. So while at first it saddened me a bit to move it, it just doesn’t make sense to include any religious icons or moral message in a sales message – unless you’re selling or promoting a moral or religious product or service.

So I moved the Buddha. The next time you’re creating a sales message, think about your own biases and unintended messages. Are they detracting from your goal?
